What is a Cinematic Highlight ?
Compare it to a beautiful music video edited in a transfixing style. It is created from the best and most important parts of your wedding celebration in the format of a three to six minute film. Our highlight reels have a fast pace and a great soundtrack that takes the viewer on an emotional roller coaster ride that keeps anybody whether family, friend, or a perfect stranger on the edge of their seat.
Do you work well with photographers?
We believe that both aspects of documenting a wedding are vital in the preservation of your celebration. Each has its own approach, its own aesthetic. Our effort is a collaborative one with the same end goal in mind. With mutual respect for our distinct strategies and methods, we endeavour to work closely with your chosen photographer to insure that your day proceeds effortlessly and stress free for you and your wedding party, your family and guests. We have worked together with many different photographers over a number of years and have never had single objection to our approach and in some cases we have developed extraordinary partnerships with them.

What if I don’t feel comfortable on camera?
Your wedding day will be a busy one and you will be surprised at how quickly our presence and cameras are forgotten! Playback Films approach is one of our best advantages. We remain unobtrusive and professional throughout. We do not interfere, or influence what you doing during your preparations and ceremonies. We strive to capture a true and genuine story of your event. We will discuss our strategy with you in advance and on the day.
How do we receive our final film?
When we are finished with post-production you receive an easy to use high capacity USB drive containing your documentary film and your highlight film plus any extras. Everything will be in full high definition and will look and sound great whether you are watching it on a large flat screen television, video projector, or computer. Our work is crisp and sharp with vivid colour and clear sound. Your highlight film will be accompanied by an appropriate and contemporary soundtrack as well. The USB drive is a portable safe storage method which you can easily make additional copies from and we suggest you make a backup copy when you receive it. Your USB drive is also a universal device that can be connected to most digital video recorders, blu ray disc players, all computers and directly to nearly all modern televisions.
Do you charge for travel?
We are located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and our service includes all travel expenses for any of our packages within a 100 hundred kilometre area that also includes Brisbane. However, should your celebration not be within this range feel free to contact us and we come to very reasonable arrangements regarding any additional travel.
