What makes you different from other wedding video companies?
Unlike most other wedding video companies, we do not make wedding videos, we make wedding films. Our goal is to produce a wedding film personalised to you that will grab your attention and keep your eyes glued to the screen. Every wedding has its own style and personality and we edit according to the music and mood of the scene. We want your film to stand out and be different from anyone else’s and as we are always learning better techniques and using new technology to further our product, you can be assured that your wedding film will be cutting edge and stand out from the rest.
What is a Cinematic Highlight ?
In a nut shell, it’s the best and most important parts of the whole day placed into a 3-6 minute clip. We then edit your highlight in such a way that you will be on the edge of you couch every time you show your family and friends.
Do you book more than one wedding per day?
Never. For that one special day in your life, we give you our undivided attention and promise that we will do everything we can to make your wedding day unforgettable. I only take on a selected number of weddings per year for that reason – You will have my undivided attention.
Do you work well with photographers?
We believe that your wedding is not complete without a photographer and vise versa. Photographers are employed to capture still imagery. Where as Videographers/Cinematographers are there to capture movements and sound. We have worked with a lot of Photographers over the years and we have never had a complaint. We are there to do different jobs, but in the end we both have one goal in mind. And that is keeping the Bride and Groom happy and making sure the day flows smooth with no stress. Playback Productions respects that your photographers are there is capture the moments a well. Working as a team on your wedding day only makes both of our products better in the end.

What if I don’t feel comfortable on camera?
In all the excitement of your wedding, you will be surprised at how quickly you forget about the camera. The professionalism of our filmmakers and their ability to remain unobtrusive is one of the biggest advantages of the Playback Productions approach. We are there to record the true events of your day, and will not interfere with or influence what you are doing in any way. We like discuss the camera shoot with you prior to your wedding day.
What is HD and Blu-ray talk about? We are so confused!
It’s not all as daunting as it is made out to be. It’s Simply much better. Why? Because the image quality is much more sharper, colours are more vivid and even the sound is crisper. Its the best of the best. If you want to relive your Wedding Day in the best quality picture and sound then Blu-ray is for you.
Do you charge for travel?
For weddings that are within 200kms from our studio which is located on the Sunshine Coast, travel costs are included for all packages. Should your wedding be outside Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, please contact us to organise a very reasonable arrangement regarding additional travel.
