If you are anything like I was while preparing our wedding, you will have spent countless hours searching for the perfect videographer to capture the most important day of your life. Take it from my husband and I, LUKE MIDDLEMISS is a magician with a video-camera!!!
We were on our honeymoon sitting in an internet café checking emails etc. There was an email sent by Luke containing a link to our Highlight video. We clicked on the link and the first thing that caught our eye was the quality of the sound and picture. Watching a little bit more, a lump started to grow in my throat. The video is breathtakingly stunning with the seamless way each scene was put together with speeches and the soundtrack. Then a few little tears escaped and started to roll down my cheek as I relived our wedding day…
Upon sharing it with friends and loved ones, the comments started to roll in. All contain complements like “Sensational”, “Fantastic”, “Wonderful” and “Amazing” when referring to our video. One friend can be quoted as saying “It’s like your own box office movie!” And that was just the 3.5min Highlight! The following week, the full length DVD arrived in the mail. It is phenomenal. Words cannot describe the beauty and emotion that has Luke has captured. It is a cherished remembrance of our wedding day and will be enjoyed many times over for many years to come.
We are both thoroughly impressed with Luke. Not only with the outcome of his efforts, but with the entire Playback experience. From the word go Luke has been approachable, easy-going, fun, an all round great guy, not to mention professional.

I am writing to say what a pleasure it was to have your presence as a Videographer at the wedding of Gretta and Daniel Van Duuren at our venue. I have never experienced such an unobtrusive, easy going, yet very professional Videographer in all my 17+ years experience working in the wedding industry. You were able to balance professionalism while still making everyone involved feel completely comfortable and at ease.
Given that we were all working with a unique and potentially challenging one off experience of a helicopter landing, timing was everything! You got some amazing footage, while not disrupting or imposing on our staff, the guests, the photographers, or the bridal party. Although I very rarely see the finished product, you were happy to share some of your footage with me, as well as Gretta and Daniel, and even the raw footage looked spectacular! I am sure that they will be very happy with the final product!

From the very first point of contact you provided quick responses and excellent samples of your work. Your manner was professional and efficient yet friendly and unobtrusive. You helped me coordinate the DVD as a surprise for my husband, Adam. When I ruined the surprise two days before the big day(!!), you were able to work with the groomsmen to convince Adam that our wedding was being filmed as part of a reality TV show. Your service is second to none. You really went above and beyond to ensure that the filming on the day went smoothly and that you didn’t miss a single moment. We enjoyed having you at our wedding. We are so pleased we engaged Luke to film our wedding for us. He did a wonderful job and provided us with a beautiful record of our wedding which captured the day perfectly – including things which we hadn’t seen on the day but were so thrilled to see later. It was a great blend of skilled and creative filming and an eye for exactly the right details to include. We have watched it over and over! Luke was also extremely professional and had such a happy and enthusiastic attitude that he blended in just like another guest and we really enjoyed having him there. We honestly are thrilled with the DVD but also really enjoyed having you at the wedding. I think that for some people it really is just a job and they don’t have the sort of attitude that you had. That’s very important because for the people getting married, it’s the only wedding that matters and to have people around who just treat it like a chore is quite unsettling.
